online trends for information exchange

There are many ways to learn the things. Today is the era to learn the things by the internet. There are many websites and tutorials which are made to support an individual in every possible way to learn the things. in this series, firstly wikis were very important resource. As the wiki content and user comments increase, the possibility of content sharing also increases.

In the same series, the another important entity is social bookmarking. In social bookmarking, the scientists and philosophers used to create the resources of their resource links which they can share online with their followers, fans and colleagues also. It invites the interaction, social collaboration and diffusion of information.

The wikis and social bookmarking are in their later stage of life, but people are still using them for their knowledge sharing. Reddit and Wikipedia are the greatest examples of this thing. Today in the social networking era, social networking sites and web 2.0 sites are opening the new doors of social learning, where people can share their valuable knowledge and information.

In this knowledge economy, where access to jobs, everyday living, careers are still connected to the knowledge of the computer skills. It is very necessary for every individual to be literate. To be literate not only means to be able to read, write or understand things but also to have basic computer skills.

From the era of innovation of www project initiated by the Tim Berner Lee, We have reached to the second era of the internet and world wide web in the form of the web 2.0 sites. (The first era of the internet was wikis and bookmarking). It is expected that in the next 15 - 20 years that we would have reached to the era of the web 3.0 and 4.0 networking. It seems that the future of the social learning via networking is bright.
